Green is the New Grey-Seniors and Medical Cannabis

In-person presentation to the Saanich Older Adult Services with regards to the use of cannabinoid therapy in a variety of conditions that have not responded to “traditional” therapy or have been associated with intolerable side effects.
This interactive lecture will include the history of using cannabis therapeutically along with the discovery of the endocannabinoid system that helps explain how this plant interacts with our body. A discussion of the scientific research, indications/contraindications, administration, dosing, potential side effects and drug interactions will also be included.
