Medical Cannabis and Spinal Cord Injury-Part One

Part one of an interactive Zoom webinar series about the use of cannabinoid therapy in the management of spinal cord injury. This section will include the history of medical cannabis along with exploration of the various plant types with emphasis on the cannabinoid and terpene content. There will also be an explanation of how cannabis interacts with the endocannabinoid system to potentially mitigate a number of symptoms. As well, a review of the research on chronic pain will be discussed along with administration formats and clinically relevant drug interactions.
