Dr. Rob Sealey
Dr. Rob Sealey travels extensively to speak at various conferences to a number of audiences including physicians, pharmacists and other health care professionals. As well, he has been invited to present topics to business organizations and the public.
Although the majority of his presentations focus on cannabinoid medicine, Dr. Sealey has also talked on subjects ranging from asthma, hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, eczema and disease prevention. His entertaining and engaging style keeps the attention of his audience despite the subject matter.

Seniors and Medical Cannabis… the older we become, the more likely we will develop conditions like chronic pain, anxiety and insomnia that might not respond to standard therapies. Cannabinoids might be a suitable alternative.
A NOVEL APPROACH TO CHRONIC PAIN
Pain is a pain… not only physically but also emotionally and socially leading to other co-morbidities such as anxiety, depression and insomnia. Present therapies may be associated with ineffective responses or intolerable side effects. According to the Canadian Pain Society guidelines, cannabinoids are suitable options and may be a way to reduce other analgesics including opiates.
Although there are over 30 pharmaceuticals available in the management of seizure disorders, almost 1/3 of patients will not respond to any of them. There is evolving evidence that cannabinoids may help for those who suffer intractable epilepsy.
